SHELTER BOX - Shelter Box Sponsorship

Our Club members  decided to raise money specifically for the purchase of Shelter Boxes.

So far the Club in its brief history has sent  8 Shelter Boxes to countries such as Pakistan and Bolivia where people have been made homeless through natural disasters.

Our Shelterbox reserve is a pot of money held specifically for the purchase of Shelter Boxes.

The fund is topped up from monies raised through our weekly Club raffles, but

donations are always welcome for this most deserving cause.  If you would like to make a donation - please contact us by clicking here

or by logging onto the shelter box website. Please click here to go to the shelterbox website. (please see "donations page" for more details)

A Shelterbox costs £490.00 - and has the capability to house up to 10 people for as long as it takes to find them more permanent shelter.

Providing sleeping facilities and basic capabilities to eat and drink - many thousands of  Shelter Boxes have been provided by Rotary Clubs and private individuals alike.

Please also see Shelterbox concerto D-141  for the latest on Shelterbox
