September 12     Heritage Open Day at Ted Coney’s Family Portraits (Sunday)

Club member and artist  Ted Coney is opening his house in Ely as part of Heritage Open Weekend with all donations from admission going to Teenage Cancer Trust.

The 300 year old cottage he shares with his wife Hazel on Waterside, once formed part of the White Swan pub . Instead of the tours around his paintings, which he normally offers, he has devised a Quiz/Trail that visitors will be able to do, as they move around the grade two listed building.

The event takes place on Sunday 12th September from 2pm- 5pm with each Trail lasting about half an hour.

‘I think families will enjoy the challenge’ said Mr Coney, ‘ and children over six years old, should be able to help with most of the questions’

Booking is advisable on 01353 650038 or  tedconey@btinternet.co.
